STRUCTURED NOTE IS A FAVOURITE DEVERE SELL.A HUGE ENTRY FEE OF 4% REALLY DEPLETES THE RETURN ON THIS TYPE OF INVESTMENT.THIS ENTRY FEE IS ALL COMMISSION.

2% FOR DEVERE,2% FOR THE SALESMAN. I CALL HIM A SALESMAN BECAUSE HE IS "FLOGGING' A POLICY. BUT THE customer PAYS HIS CASH BUT NEVER GETS A POLICY DOCUMENT. AND WILL NEVER GET A DOCUMENT OF OWNERSHIP.

IF YOU HAVE BEEN UNLUCKY ENOUGH TO HAVE BOUGHT ONE OF THESE "NOTES" THEN I ASK YOU WHERE IS THE PROOF OF YOUR INVESTMENT???THE ANSWER IS "YOU DONT HAVE ONE" YOU HAVE PURCHASED A BAD INVESTMENT THAT YOU CANNOT PROVE THAT YOU OWN IT.

Had an Experience with Devere Group?

If the investment seems to be paying out big bucks, then you'll keep putting money in, right? Like Doyle Lonnegan in The Sting. He's given the impression of winning, at first...

Mr UK X Pat. I understand completely your point, but you are still being ripped off. 1) the same products (notes) can be bought elsewhere with no commission. 2) those notes are much riskier than you might care to imagine.

Before you buy any more from them make sure there is a clear communication chain where they propose the product, you review and then give a clear written instruction. They are capable of buying such products with your money without even letting you know.

I have been an ex pat living and working in oil and gas for many years all over the world so you can probably imagine how many times I have been approached by financial advisers, for me the reality is I need to do something with my money so I need to put my faith somewhere. We all keep money in banks and its these same banks who rip us off and cause all the financial problems.

I used Devere to help transfer my pension, some of my money was put into some structured notes, one of them paid me 14% over 6 months and the other is paying me 2.4% every three months, I for one could not give a *** about the fee I paid, I'm more focused on what I get out of it.

deVere put all their structured notes accessible via their devere fund platform. This has been know to give out false information time and time again.

There are no certificates of ownership the previous chap is right. Leave your morals behind because you definitely wont need them working for that bunch of sh*tsters.

I know I did it for years, ripping people off. Invest with deVere & you loose 4% of your money straight away :-)

deVere get paid 10% commission on Structured Notes but only pay their salesman 2%- Who are the mugs?

There is an investment of course. However, from my days at devere the reason the client didn't get documents is because this doc contained commission and fee info.

My manager told me to have all the docs sent to the office and then have them binned, so the client didn't find out the true investment cost. After all, costs and fees were either not discussed or made up at point of sale. This was quite normal. If the client wanted info they could call the office and get more BS.

Ahhh!!the professionalism of it all.....

They claim to offer morgan stanley structured notes. Are you saying this is not true?

If there's no investment and no policy document (why wouldn't the investment provider supply one? what does the client refer to, if not a document?), and devere gets 2% and the salesman 2%, where does the other 96% go?

This "complaint" makes no sense.Probably a competitor making baseless allegations.
