Simon Pratt is currently on the run from Hong Kong Tax authorities Whilst Spencer Lodge has been named, shamed & publicly embarrassed. He is currently been sued by Elton John's AIDS charity because he failed to honer a $1,100,000 charity auction bid he made to spend the day with Elton and his partner David.
The troubled CEO Nigel Green has a very checkered past himself with BBC's Panorama program hot of his heels (WHO STOLE MY PENSION, you tube). Devere Group/devere & Partners/PIC/Worldnet/Inter-Alliance/Providence Capital and many other dodgy trust & DIRECT SALES OPERATIONS that Nigel is behind are currently waiting for the inevitable fallout.
Nigel Green, his loyal foot soldiers (Managers) are currently pushing a global recruitment drive in a last ditch attempt to fleece the unsuspecting expat exec/worker out of their life savings.
Devere are attempting to open as many offices as they can globally, fill them up with gullible recruits from UK that they have fed *** and bull stories to of great wealth. Devere have a great looking website, a media machine which is well oiled, constantly spurting out good stories about devere to try to cover all the bad press which inevitably finds it's way on to the internet.
The reason devere open so many offices is because it doesn't cost them a cent to do so. Initially the local Manager will pay key money open the office, all the office furniture will be leased unless already furnished. From this moment on the gullible recruits, so called consultants (sales staff) will pay for the privilege of working there. Generally this cost will be between $250-350.00 p/m. You pay for the heating, lighting, water, waste, paper, fax, electric, toilet roll, telephones. Devere do not take this from their operating cost because they don't have any. Devere are all geared up for profit, profit, profit at the customers expense (sales staff aren't excluded from this either).
You would think that Devere might pass this on to their clients by way of discounted products-Oh no, in fact it's the total oppersite, they front load all their lump sum products with 4% charge whilst being paid approximately 6% by the Bank or institution. 10% gain. Devere will pay 1.5% to the consultant if he's lucky. For devere QROPS they will sell you a vehicle that costs you 1.75% for life of the plan plus quarterly charges. For funds generally they like to stick you in high risk funds that they get extra commissions on at 4.75%. They will also hold back a good % of your money to make sure you have enough to pay a few years charges. Once this is all set up you can expect to have your funds changed around every 6 months to earn more commissions for devere, this is called fund churning.
devere are a GREEDY SALES ORG who have a complete disregard for customers & staff. They will be recruiting in an area near you so be warned-A good looking website, global offices, strategic alliances-What does it all mean? Gross mismanagement of your money, theft, lies, dishonorable people from the top right the way down to the bottom. All is not lost, there are much better companies to to business with, companies that will be honest, upfront. Companies that will have your interests as a priority, companies that can give you great products that aren't front loaded, fair charges & in many cases not for the life of the plan.
If it's a company that Nigel Green & his cronies are behind stay well clear.
