Devere Group's reply to:

Devere Group in Torrance, California - Everything Devere@ Pissed Consumer?

Why is it there are so many negative comments about this offshore Financial Consultancy? Devere have touched the lives of many people globally, maybe this is why? Visit the online forum where you can have your opportunity to give honest feedback of your Devere experience, be it good or bad. Personally, you can justify a few bad comments say from disgruntled ex employees, but the pure extent of comments from all corners of the globe must tell you something about this group. It's not just ex employees that comment about Devere group is it? There are many clients that have also had direct dealings with Devere that have something to say, generally not good. If you see or hear anything Devere run as fast as you can, don't disclose you have a UK pension or any excess cash, they will never leave you alone.

Devere Group in Torrance, California - Devere-0 Pissed Consumer-1

Devere have tried and failed to have all the truth removed from this website. Pissed consumer we salute you. You have given the underdog, tbe man in tbe street a platform to truly voice their opinion. You have shown resolve under duress we know Nigel Green CEO Devere Group & his henchmen have unlimited financial resources,. If all else fails they will probably resort to violence, been a trait of theirs in the past towards staff that wanted to extract themselves from the scientology like, mind bending clutches of their unscrupulous ways. duck and run for cover... Devere are coming with their scatter guns.. It's a bit like Bugsy Malone the movie, the IQ of his Management (firm/boys/gang) is very low, half of them couldn't fight their way out of a paper bag. When will the FSA $ SEC get tough with these *** artists & put out an APB, round them up like the donkeys they are (jack ***).

Devere Group in Torrance, California - Devere-STM Malta QROPS Same Co.

The STM Malta QROPS that Devere Group are sticking all their clients money in needs to carry a public health warning! If the country you end up retiring to doesn't have a double taxation treaty with Malta you should definitely NOT move or even consider moving your pension here. Implications for you could be immense in being hammered on tax payments when you take drawdown. Did the Devere salesman disclose that Nigel Green has a vested intrest in STM Malta? Probably not, he owns a large part of this company which again wouldn't be in the interests of the client. The funds that Devere will put you in will be FRONT LOADED so you will see your investment drastically fall in value, many of these funds the salesman and Devere get paid much higher commissions on because-they own part or all of the funds. They will tell you in a well scripted meeting which they learn parrot fashion in Malta that they have over 5,000 different products available, strategic alliances with JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, RBS, etc.. Does this all sound a little too familiar? We are the largest offshore financial consultancy with offices in over... Different countries, many countries Devere have been thrown out of. When you become a client of mine here in .... I will personally meet up with you every quarter to discuss any investments you may have through us, depending on your requirements of course. Sound familiar? Proceed with caution, you don't want to get sucked in to the Devere machine, once they have your money they lose interest. Did Devere ask you for names of your friends? We work on a referral basis?

Devere Group in Crawley, England - DeVere Recruitment London Friday 13th July

Yes it was Friday 13th, I should have known! Andy Chaulkin (ex army) aren't they all, headed up the recruitment day at the Hilton on Friday, as I expected it was a blatant shiny happy, pick where you want to work in the world b****** two hours. When I asked him what his conversion rate was from candidate through to employee he couldnt give me a definitive answer, asked him about marketing budget and where the "data" for leads would come from, again no definitive answer, nor were my questions about the CISI "licence" that we would need to sell the products! unfortunately most of the other "participants" were too rabbit in the headlights at the idea of the "glamorous" life that they could lead with DeVere as was evidenced by the questions that they were asking, as if they were already successfully employed and living the "life" I have worked abroad before in Marbella and Laos and was expecting something new from this outfit but I dont think I am wrong, they are just another wolf in shiny sheeps clothing. There were no recommendations other than from Generalli and Friends Provident, no references from Deutschebank or JP Morgan who have allegedly come up with a unique Quorups product bespoke for DeVere. We were also given a very detailed account of the Christmas Party at the Grosvenor House in Park Lane and how they planned this year to spend £1m on their employees, almost trying to distract those of us who were there to find out the truth! I am almost half interested in going along for the next "interview" stage to gather as much inside information as I can about their exploits and expose them for the scam mongering rats that I believe that they are ? Anyone else with anything else to add or advice would be MUCH appreciated!

Devere Group - Devere Dubai - Job

A young colleague has been invited to an interview with a recruiter from the DeVere Group in Dubai. Apparently they have a subsidiary recruitement company called Forefront Recruitment that handles the hiring. The interview will be with one of the directors in Dubai and for a 'consultant'/sales role. Has anyone had any experience with this recruitment company that is hiring for DeVere? How to find out if these guys are legit and decent? We have read up on alotof the negative reviews ad complaints about DeVere but would appreciate any info about this recruiter and from anyone who has been to an interview with them.

Devere Group in San Diego, California - Devere Stole My Pension

I wish I could have found this site before letting those lying cheating *** anywhere near my pension. I have since found out that I was fed a pack of lies by the Devere salesman. I have seen my pension plummet in value because it's been put in investments that Nigel Green has a hand. To top that off they've put my pension in Nigel Green s Malta company STM where I will be liable to pay considerable tax when I start taking my benefits, this is because the country I am retiring to doesn't have a double taxation agreement with Malta. This and many other important things I have since found out, the salesman forgot to mention. Take my advice for what it's worth-do not entertain anyone from that dreadful company, they just tell you what they think you want to hear-period.

Devere Group in Mexico, Capital District - De Vere's virtually robbed me of retirement

These people ruined my reirement. I deal with one Mark Slevin who sails under the title "Senior Partner" of this disreputable company when he appears on "Linked In" De Vere has a tendency to open and close offices at will without notice which included mine. Slevin was "away on a family problem", and when I tracked him down later told me he would be in the office "early next week". He wasn't, never returned, and wrote from a phoney Hotmail address which purported to bee de Vere's. . I had told him prior to meeting that if he could offer a better return than the bank on my savings I would consider investing. He sent me an attractive written proposal under which I would earn 10 or twelve per cent per annum. I made it clear I would need to cash the accumulated interest each year to live on. Without clear explanations he talked me into a portfolio TOTALLY CONTRARY TO WHAT I REQUIRED. He misrepresented just about everything and told me THREE times I could always "borrow" on the strength of my portfolio on favourable terms. As I replied each time it was highly unlike that I would need to resort to borrowing considering the return I was getting on my savings. Of course I realised too late that this totally dishonest, dishonourable man knew precisely what corner he was driving me into but didn't give a toss. He failed to tell me that I would have to pay substantial amounts for "managing" my portfolio, or that there was a secondary charge for one of the investments. In brief I have been paying to see my savings eroded by one- third over two years. I may eventually have something paid out but by that time I could be dead. Obviously de Vere just snatches the money from its 'staff" without any checking to see if the proposed investments are suited to their client's needs. When I explained my dissatisfaction and frustration at my treatment, the "representative" in their alleged customer Care Office" in Barcelona was very terse and told me "This isn't a bank account, you know." Sadly that's the case. However modest the return, at least I would now have more than I put in. Not with de Vere's! Those who are aware of the tricks of the trade about investments manage their own affairs. We who don't have that knowledge pay fat commissions to "Financial Advisers" to ensure that we are given full and reliable information as well as appropriate portfolios. It would appear that Slevin is not their only disreputable man without a conscience - greedy and deceitful. On emailing to ask why he had locked me into such a portfolio – over which he never once mentioned "˜capital at risk" - he had the temerity to write back saying "I have locked you into nothing." Some people lie as easily as the rest of us breathe. Instead of enjoying the fruits of my life's work I am now having to watch the pennies. People of his character should not be permitted to practice deceit on the public. It is little more than theft.

Devere Group - DeVere Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City

DeVere in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam kept calling me saying that I had been recommended to be contacted from one of my "friends" or "colleagues". Every time I asked who, they could not answer. Eventually, after weekly phone calls for months, I meet with one of there "expert financial advisers" what a joke. No qualification whatsoever, he would be arrested if he did the same thing in his home country. When I asked if they had anyone qualified as a CFP in their office....more BS and no definitive answer. A vague work history in financial services, no specifics. No clients I could meet, for someone so successful and such a long time in the industry he does not have one client that would recommend him. Anyways glad I saw this site, I feel sorry for anyone who has been taken by this scam. People in Vietnam beware, I hear they just opened an office in Hanoi.
