Devere Group - The Senior Management team at Devere own part of frozen UAM Funds

The Senior Management team at Devere were offered the chance to part own the UAM funds. The idea being to lock them in and not leave. These guys are Mr Green's Generals. They were offered a % of the fund over several years based on how much their teams contributed to the fund. The idea being that after 5 years the fund would be sold or Mr Green would buy it from them if there were no other buyers. The 5th anniversary was March 2013. Could it be that Mr Green actually closed the fund and suspended it just so that he would not have to pay out and therefore locking in and most likely losing $50M of clients money at the same time???? Answers on a postcard please.

Devere Group - DeVere's calculated miss-selling of products is rife globally!!!!

De Vere & Partners Financial Planners now the deVere Group Calculated Miselling of products: I was purposefully misold a pensions saving product and was blatently mislelied to when I asked questions about to clarify the companies policies and fee structures. I went to De Veres looking for a pension product. I knew that I would only be in Hong Kong for a few years but while there was on an enhanced salary and wanted to put it to good use.  I therefore told De Veres that I needed an internationally portable product that would allow changes in premiums without penalty.   When I asked questions concerning the policies and fee structure of the plan they had suggested I was blatently lied to and misold a product that is none of these things, but could have been if it had been managed in a way that was beneficial to me and my circumstances and not theirs.  Instead De Veres set up my policy to give them a maximum commission up front leaving me with huge fees that will eat up much of the profit being made when I leave Hong Kong, it has huge early exit fees to cover De Veres up front commission fees and with very little scope of funds on the international market. I would also stryggle to find another advisor to manage the plan for me as ALL commission was paid up front to De Veres...this can never be in a clients best interest and I was NOT made aware of this!!! Incidentally, I was promised regular update reports and meetings to discuss the progress of my plan on its completion and instead I recieved no further contact from them at all.   After becoming tired of chasing them I moved the plan to another financial advisor who kindly agreed to manage it for me.All of this information came to light very recently when I sought advise on returning to the UK.   I went to see De Veres to discuss the issues raised and recieved conflicting advise which I checked out with my plan providers. Several e mails went back and forth, with each e mail came a different and conflicting real of excuses to the point where they told me not to believe my plan provider. Realising that there was something decidedly shifty I sent a letter to De Veres outlining all of my concerns. This was a month ago and as yet I have not recieved a reply. It looks like this will become a legal issue. I wish I could say I was naive but the fact is I did ask pertinent questions regarding De Veres suggestions. If I had been given truthful answers to my questions I would not have purchased this product. My naivity lies in believing their replies.  Please be careful if you have any dealings with deVere.

Devere Group - Nigel Green of deVere has three Staff in Jail for Stealing Nigel Green Devere Dubai Abu Dhabi Scam

Nigel Green deVere Scam. Nigel Green of deVere group now has 3 staff members of staff banged up in an Abu Dhabi jail for stealing. They apparently stole from a hotel and got caught in the process and have said they were told to do it. Whilst shocking, this is not a surprise to me just that they haven’t been caught before. I worked for these Devere clowns in the Abu Dhabi office for 6 months until recently so I don’t care about them anymore or that *** Nigel Green. This goes on all the time and the pressure that is placed upon staff to make calls to anyone that will listen and force appointments on people is at the centre of this company sales drive. Nigel Green just wants sales and he doesn’t care how it’s done. He’s not the one on the front line. I left after being asked to sell a product with a higher commission than what was best for the customer. I now work for one of their providers in the UAE and the stories we hear about what goes on there is just disgusting and now with 3 deVere staff in jail Nigel Green has to admit these three are officially criminals.

Devere Group - 100% commision paid job, 30% fail, you pay your expenses

Devere group headhunters called me and invited me to the interview. The information they have provided to me on the phone was a complete lie. They said that the pay in your first year is 40k and in second year is 100k plus you can choose to work in any of their 70 offices worldwide. They did not mention that salary is 100% based on comission and that you have to pay your travel expenses. Also they did not mention on the phone that they expect you to walk around looking for wealthy clients and do cold calling. This company is a liar. They seem serious but it a waste of time and money. Watch out. When it seems too good to be true it usually is not true.

Devere Group - Ex Employee of deVere Scam

I am an ex-employee of deVere and am interested in putting together a Class Action through the Courts. All disgruntled Investors/Clients/ex-employees are welcome to help me carry this out even if it is just incriminating evidence/experience you can help me with building the case. I intend to close them down and see Nigel Green behind bars. Please contact me on Pn_Fleming@Yahoo.co.uk I have 30+ years of Investment Banking experience and have contacts with many Financial Regulators so am perfectly placed to see this through to the end. I will be successful, and anyone who contributes will enjoy the down-fall of what I consider to be the most unethical, unprofessional company I have ever encountered. They make a corrupt second hand car sales force look like angels.

DeVere Group & Rat Droppings = Same

The deVere Group and Rat droppings are very similar, why you may ask? Rat droppings spread disease & discomfort when they come into contact with humans. There are a number of ways this can happen, orally being the main common denominator. Rats are right across the globe spreading their infections diseases with them, in all countries they have a presence they have rapidly multiplied in numbers. They tend to congregate in packs, think they're elite, are distinctively recognizable from their white background & stripy attire. Please be warned if you come across this vermin, you should immediately be on your guard. Due to their proven, abysmal track record you have a very high probability of losing your wealth or should I say health or both! Is there currently a cure for such vermin? Yes- Spread the word & let others know what your experiences were.

Devere Group - Beware *** men working at Devere Moscow

I am posting to advise on some of the past histories of Devere financial consultants. All of them are totally unregulated and some even have a criminal record in the UK. They are here pure and simple to rip potential clients off by signing them to ridiculously long savings periods with small returns. They are paid a very generous commission up front and at no time do they explain how long the initial period is for on the policies. There is one guy who owes Devere in excess of $50k in claw backs as he mislead a number of high profile clients during his stay there. The area Managers actively encourage the advisors to lie and evade answering questions so they can get their 4% overide. The training manager is taking backhanders from other competitors to pass leads and personnel. How do I know all this?? I worked at it for 5 years plus and now work for a reputable company in Moscow

Devere Group Lies!! *****WARNING*****

I have been a client of Devere's for 3 years and was sold a monthly savings plan and was advised by a likeable man who sold me a pack of lies saying that I would get this and that returns and they are experts in what they do! I found out that hardly any of the advisor's are qualified and are just car sales people or window salesmen, that are known for being pushy. I have had no help over my policy in the 3 years and it has lost over $10,000. I would Never recommend them to anyone and I am not Happy with their so called world class after sales service. What Service?
